Event Description:
Demonstration Day, dubbed Demo Day for short, is an incredible opportunity to come watch local artisans at work. From sewing to laser cutting and engraving to woodturning, there will be multiple makers on site to show off their skills. These artisan makers will be demonstrating how they make unique products such as purses, wallets, bowls, ink pens, baby blankets and more. After touring the space and watching live demonstrations, the Makers Market Gift Shop will also be open selling handmade items from maker members. (Credit/Debit card only). These items are a great way to support local and gift something different for Valentine’s Day. To fully immerse in the “maker experience”, guests are encouraged to grab a cup of freshly roasted coffee from The Roastery located inside Kentucky Movers and Makers. Coffee, shopping and demonstrations will be the perfect way to stay warm on Saturday morning.
